Amateur Baseball Federation of India
P.C.Bhardwaj as a Secretary General of Amateur baseball Federation of India, has taken long strides to popularise Baseball game in a short span of its existence. The Federation recognised in Feb., 1991 by the Department of Y/A and sport. Government of India to avail financial grant for the National Baseball Championship. The Federation was affiliated by the B.F.A and I.B.A in 1985. The Federation has been recognised by the Indian Olympic Association. Baseball game was included in the School game by the S.G.F.I in 1998. At present 25 States/UT are the affiliated Baseball unit of the Federation. Certificate course has been introduced by S.A.I (Sport Authority of India) in N.I.S Patiala.

Indian team won Bronze Medal & Silver Medal in 1995 & 1999 in the Asian Cup Baseball Championship. Asian Cup Tournament was introduced by B.F.A with the sincere effort by me (Mr.P.C.Bhardwaj) & Mr.Hector C. Nevocero of Philippines. Now being Secretary General of the Federation most urgent task is to introduce Baseball in the Inter Universities Sports Competition

As a player participated in many National & State level tournaments.
As coach for the State team many times.
As umpire in many national final matches.
More than fifteen years associated with the fantastic and interesting American national game Baseball in India.
Now as a Secretary of Tamilnadu Baseball Association.
I promise every district, town, & village in the State of Tamilnadu (India) the children and youth will walk with Baseball glove towards the playground, The days are closer.

My dream will come true.
